On this episode of The Social Work Bubble Podcast, we are joined by Carleigh Baker, a school social worker who will be talking all about the unique role school social workers have, how to build rapport and build the social worker's reputation, navigating relationships with admin & teachers & EVERYTHING in between!
Carleigh Baker is a third year school social worker living in Illinois, currently working toward clinical licensure. She has also worked with individuals of all age groups and various populations in the community mental health and inpatient behavioral health settings. Carleigh has a strong passion for eliminating the stigmas surrounding mental health and helping others, especially teens, understand and work through mental health challenges. With clinical licensure, she hopes to specialize in treating anxiety, OCD, and trauma disorders. When Carleigh is not social working, she enjoys reading, writing, fitness, cooking/baking, and spending time with family and her golden retriever, Harvey.
