Ep. 58 The Therapeutic Power of Yoga & Dancing in Session ft. Amalia Sirica
On this episode of The Social Work Bubble Podcast, we are joined by Amalia Sirica, LCSW, getting into how we can integrate dance & yoga into therapy sessions, and why this can be such a valuable and powerful practice!
Amalia Sirica is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a yoga teacher. She has spent the last ten years working in deep relationship with people, and believes that when given the right tools, each of us has the power and the ability to live lives beyond our wildest dreams.
Amalia loves combining different modalities, bridging the space between the scientific and the spiritual, helping people to reconnect with their innermost selves, with their bodies, and with their joy. She has most recently become interested in dance as a therapeutic modality and potential vehicle for relational healing work.
